![]() | MASON COUNTYGreat Lakes History Companion The Seal of the City of Ludington that you see to your left is a repaired photo of a door from a safe rumoured to be from the old Ludington City Hall. Purchased at a local auction for $5.00 this steel door nearly became scrap and the painting lost to time. There are windows to our past everywhere, in the photographs in local antique shops, boxes in a thrift shop, too often our history is thrown away with little regard to it's significance. Many of the photos and items you will see on these pages are from my personal collection, I hope that you enjoy them, come back often to see what's new, and that you also invest a few minutes,to save and preserve our history for those to come after us. I am always looking for photos and other items to copy or purcase for inclusion in the site. | |||||||||

Note to researchers, I do not maintain information on families outside of my own at this time, Your best chance to contact other family researchers and find information is going to be in posting some of your family information on the Mason County Boards. Volunteers and lookup materials can be found in the "lookups" category. -I routinely check the postings if I have information or can steer you in another direction I will contact you. I do not provide research services. White Pine Village can help you in that area.
