  5. Frank Areklet Neighbors helping Neighbors. Haying in Mason County in 1938 on the Frank Areklet Farm. Frank was sick and his farm neighbors came to the rescue by helping out. In 1938 shortly after his marriage Frank Areklet became very ill.

  13. A view of a past scene on the Buttersville Penninsula, Taylorsville. The Buttersville Penninsula which borders the Pere Marquette Lake and Lake Michigan used to be the site of a group of small communities such as Buttersville, Taylorsville, Finn Town, these small communites were connected by Boardwalks.
